Travis is a seasoned entrepreneurial finance and commercial real estate management executive with 17+ years of experience. He has successfully closed $35+ billion in commercial real estate transactions nationwide for numerous clients during his career. He has worked with multiple teams within CMBS, balance sheet, warehouse credit line, mezzanine, construction, and investment management capacities.
Travis is responsible for managing multiple business platforms at Carpe Realty. He manages originations and new business with existing clients and is tasked with identifying new client prospects and new operational business platforms for expansion. He currently oversees strategic assessments, corporate advisory, audits and valuation service business lines. Travis is responsible for managing all underwriting, due diligence procedures, credit memo and asset summary presentations, and third party vendors. He manages the asset and investment management processes, operations, and assesses ongoing operating cash flow trends via loan monitoring for modification, purchase or divestiture of distressed real estate. In these capacities, he is responsible for personnel management, risk management and loss mitigation.
Travis has experience working with numerous clients including individuals, complex entities, institutions, Wall Street investment banks, mezzanine lenders, managers and pension funds. He routinely provides corporate services to bridge multiple client platforms to drive firm consistency in its management of single assets and large portfolio transactions exceeding 100+ properties.
Prior to Carpe Realty, Travis spent several years at Cantor Fitzgerald and Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for sourcing, screening, managing and closing $1.2+ billion of commercial real estate transactions with his teams. He spent many years working on western, central and eastern region teams and is knowledgeable of most US markets.
Travis holds a BBA in Finance and a Certificate in International Business from Texas A&M University.
